African Lodge is situated opposite the University of the Free State, and Universitas Hospital, in the same street as all major sport stadiums ( Vodacom Park etc.), Grey College, Eunice Girls High, Central University of Technologies the Waterfront Mall with various upmarket restaurants and the Bloemfontein Zoo.
All government departments, the Supreme Court, Snt Andrews Boys and Snt Michaels and Mimosa Mall are within 1.2km from African Lodge.
We offer comfortable, stylish, four-star and other African decorated en-suite bedrooms. En-suite bathroom with a bath or shower, a selection of satellite TV (DSTV) bouquets are in all the rooms. Most of our rooms have private entrances to the garden and parking area.
We also cater for families with our self catering family units. Each unit has a kitchenette, 1 double bed and two single beds.
The lodge can accommodate large groups.

The CIPC hereby certify that the business operating as AFRICAN LODGE has the permission to operate during the South African lock-down period as announced by the president of the Republic on the 23rd of March 2020.
Please note that our venue accommodates 240 guests, but in compliance with the COVID-19 regulations we will only be accommodating a maximum of 50 guests who will be instructed to be 2 meters apart.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of premature departure we charge for the full amount of the original booking. Cancellation 0 – 28 days before days of arrival, or no show – visitors forfeits 100% of any deposits paid. Approved refunds are only to be done once a month.
